CDL is seeking a Trade Development Representative to focus on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs & Float. The role emphasizes visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SSOs (Sales Service Outlets) and agents.
Key Responsibilities
SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
Training and Delivery of Business Tools: Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO & agent outlets and train personnel on business processes.
Compliance Training: Train agents on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and SSOs on the KYC (Know Your Customer) process in relation to SIM registration (SIMREG).
Float and Stock Management: Monitor and effectively enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate stock of SIMs for new registration and activations.
Merchandising: Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing materials at SSOs and Agent outlets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Telecommunications sectors.
Soft Skills: Customer focus, influencing and negotiation skills, networking and building partnerships, and analytical thinking.
