Role Overview
The County Government of Nyandarua is seeking to recruit 20 Casual Staff for the Engineer Municipality. These roles are essential for maintaining the standards of cleanliness, infrastructure functionality, and environmental health within the municipality. The staff will provide manual and logistical support to the municipal operations under the direction of the Municipal Manager.
Responsibilities
Provide cleaning and sanitation services within the municipality's jurisdiction.
Undertake basic maintenance tasks to ensure public facilities remain in good repair.
Handle solid waste management and participate in environmental conservation efforts.
Maintain grounds and public spaces to ensure they are safe and accessible.
Perform errands and provide general support services as required by the municipal office.
Ensure compliance with municipal guidelines and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
Execute any other duties as may be assigned by the Municipal Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Certificate.
Must be a Kenyan citizen with a valid National Identification Card.
Ability to perform manual labor and outdoor tasks.
Reliability and a strong work ethic.
