AutoXpress Ltd, East Africa's leading supplier of tyres, wheels, batteries, and automotive parts, is seeking an Auto Parts Sales Executive for the Western region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert product recommendations within the automotive parts industry.
Account Management: Maintain existing customer relationships by offering personalized individual account management and support through regular contact and visits.
Business Growth: Drive customer growth by identifying and bringing on board new customers.
Product Expertise: Provide customers with accurate product recommendations based on their specific requirements.
Communication: Communicate new products, services, and special developments to customers.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports.
Key Competencies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and account management skills.
Customer-focused, result-oriented, performance-driven, and proactive.
Sharp business acumen and financial understanding.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline; a focus on Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.
At least 2-3 years of working experience in a sales position within the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of auto parts and accessories products.
Basic financial literacy, including key concepts like revenue, sales, and profit.
Preferably a Kenyan citizen.
