The Auto Parts Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth by managing customer accounts, providing expert product recommendations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within the automotive sector. The role involves managing credit policies and maintaining a strong pipeline of new and existing clients.
Principal Accountabilities
Customer Credit Policy Management: Effectively oversee and manage customer credit limits and payment compliance.
Account Management: Maintain existing customers by offering personalized individual account management and support through regular customer contact and visits.
Business Development: Identify and bring on board new customers to grow the market share.
Product Advisory: Provide customers with accurate product recommendations based on their specific requirements.
Communication: Update customers regarding new products, services, and special developments.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports to track performance and objectives.
Key Competencies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and account management skills.
Customer-focused, result-oriented, performance-driven, and proactive.
Sharp business acumen and financial understanding.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline; specialization in sales and marketing is an added advantage.
At least 2-3 years of working experience in a sales position within the automotive industry.
Specific knowledge of auto parts and accessories products.
Basic financial literacy including key concepts like revenue, sales, and profit.
Preferably a Kenyan citizen.
