Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is seeking to recruit 12 qualified TVET Trainers specialized in Supply Chain Management. The university, located in Bondo Town within Siaya County, is looking for individuals capable of delivering technical and vocational training to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary practical and theoretical competencies in logistics and procurement processes.
Responsibilities
Deliver theoretical and practical training in Supply Chain Management.
Develop and update course materials and curriculum content in alignment with TVETA standards.
Assess student performance through regular examinations, practical assessments, and projects.
Mentor students and provide guidance on industry standards and career paths.
Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and progress reports.
Participate in departmental meetings and institutional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
Relevant training experience in a technical or vocational setting.
Possession of a TVETA (Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority) Training Certification.
Pedagogical skills will be considered a significant added advantage.
