Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is seeking to recruit 12 qualified TVET Trainers for Digital Journalism. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering technical and vocational training to students, ensuring they develop practical skills and competencies in the field of digital journalism and media technology. The university is located in Bondo Town within Siaya County.
Responsibilities
Facilitate learning in Digital Journalism and related media technology subjects.
Prepare and deliver training materials in accordance with TVET standards.
Evaluate student progress through continuous assessments and examinations.
Maintain student records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Provide pedagogical support and mentorship to students.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Communication & Media Technology or a related field.
Relevant training experience.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) Training Certification.
Pedagogical skills are considered a significant added advantage.
