Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is looking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of TVET Trainer in Business Management. There are twelve (12) vacancies for this role. The successful candidates will be tasked with delivering high-quality vocational training and academic instruction to students within the TVET department, ensuring they gain the necessary competencies for the business sector.
Responsibilities
Deliver quality instruction and practical training to students in Business Management subjects.
Develop and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and training manuals in line with the TVET curriculum.
Conduct student assessments, including exams and practical evaluations, and maintain accurate records of performance.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and institutional development initiatives.
Ensure proper maintenance of training equipment and facilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a relevant related field.
Prior experience in a training or educational environment is required.
Valid TVETA Training Certification is mandatory.
Possession of pedagogical skills is a significant added advantage.
Ability to provide clear academic and professional documentation, including testimonials and identification documents.
