We are looking for a dedicated Telesales Representative to manage the end-to-end telesales process, convert leads into sales, and maintain high standards of customer education and CRM discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Conversion
Own the end-to-end telesales process, from initial lead contact and qualification to handling objections and closing the sale.
Consistently convert inbound and outbound leads into completed sales.
Meet and exceed established monthly sales and conversion targets.
Utilize structured sales scripts while adapting to specific customer needs and buying signals.
Demonstrate strong closing instincts while adhering to ethical standards.
Customer and Product Education
Clearly explain device quality grades, warranties, pricing, and instalment plans to customers.
Educate customers on financing requirements and manage expectations early to reduce fallout.
Balance customer experience with commercial goals to close deals effectively.
Pipeline and CRM Discipline
Accurately capture and update customer data in the CRM in real-time within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Proactively manage your pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal progression.
Maintain clean, credit-ready submissions to support approval and delivery success.
Cross-functional Execution
Collaborate closely with credit, logistics, and customer experience (CX) teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery.
Identify and flag risks, delays, or quality issues that could impact conversions or customer satisfaction.
Handle professional escalations and escalate internally when appropriate.
Performance and Continuous Improvement
Track personal performance against defined targets.
Identify patterns in objections, lead quality, and drop-offs to suggest process improvements.
Refine sales techniques based on feedback, data, and previous outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in telesales or customer service roles.
Sector Knowledge: Experience in the mobile device or technology sector is an added advantage.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in sales techniques and closing strategies; familiarity with CRM tools for managing leads and tracking conversions.
Attributes: Ability to handle objections and rejections while maintaining a positive attitude.
