Job Description
At Teltonika, we have been creating the internet of things (IoT) for over 20 years now and we want our products and solutions to be used globally and to become indispensible in any business. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team, focusing on Security Systems.
Responsibilities
Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding opportunities for growth in East and West Africa.
Generate sales with new clients through cold calling and networking.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through daily contact, presentations, and frequent visits.
Prepare commercial offers and ensure contracts to achieve assigned sales goals.
Attend exhibitions and meetings to represent Teltonika and security products.
Building and maintaining a CRM database.
Collaborate with the technical support department and product specialists to address customer requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' proven excellence in a Sales Executive or relevant sales role with B2B selling experience.
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Strong understanding of the industry and able to articulate insights about selling security tech in East and West Africa.
Excellent English skills (both spoken and written).
Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills.
Organised, results-oriented, and challenge-driven personality.
Strong presentation and business communication skills.
Strong ability to establish and leverage industry relevant rapport to support growth of the business.
Open to traveling across the region to grow client base.
Go-getter who is not afraid to hunt opportunities relentlessly.
