Role Overview
The Senior Account Associate (SAA) is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction through strategic planning and providing day-to-day implementation and management of client projects. Reporting to the Account Manager, the SAA ensures that the client's communications requirements are identified and appropriate solutions are recommended, planned, budgeted, and implemented. This is an entry leadership role for a self-driven, strategic thinker who is passionate about the marketing, advertising, and communications industry.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management: Maintain rapport with clients and provide proactive foresight on client needs and potential opportunities, proposing creative solutions.
Project Execution: Work collaboratively with the team to adhere to quality processes and standards, ensuring client deliverables are achieved.
Content Development: Spearhead development of content for dissemination on mainstream and digital media channels.
Strategic Planning: Develop communication strategies, execution plans, editorial content, and digital strategies.
Business Development: Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations, including research support.
Budget Oversight: Accurately develop and manage budgets and revenue targets for assigned client portfolios.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Communication, Marketing, or a similar field from a recognized institution.
Experience: Over 5-7 years of full-time experience in public relations, account management, or client service, with at least 3 years of agency experience.
Certifications: Professional qualifications such as CPR, CIM, or certifications in Customer Service, Marketing, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Experience in developing communication strategies, execution plans, editorial content writing, digital strategies, and content plans.
Financial Skills: Proven ability to accurately develop and manage budgets and revenue targets.
Soft Skills: High business acumen, adaptive, confident, and a strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication and negotiation skills.
