Security Supervisor - KBL Warehouse Management

Key Responsibilities

• Personnel Management: Coordinate the recruitment, screening, and regular rotation of sub-contracted security guards to ensure high performance and integrity.
• Incident Reporting: Log all security incidents in the occurrence book and report them to relevant management, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Law Enforcement Liaison: Work closely with the local police to investigate alleged intrusions or theft of company/client cargo, tracking cases until conclusion.
• Procedural Compliance: Ensure all security protocols are strictly adhered to by employees, visitors, and clients within the warehouse premises.
• Access & Surveillance: Supervise the manning of access points and control rooms; monitor the security plan and conduct internal inspections to identify non-compliance.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all security infrastructure (fencing, alarms, CCTV systems) and tools are in optimal working condition.
• Asset Tracking: Maintain records and safe custody of all main facility keys and verify that items leaving the premises have valid authorization and gate passes.
• Emergency Planning: Implement and oversee emergency evacuation plans and security strategies tailored to the work site in compliance with client requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
• Experience: Previous experience in security supervision, particularly within a warehouse or logistics environment, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of CCTV operations, incident investigation, and emergency response protocols.
