The School Counsellor will play a critical role in fostering a positive environment by providing guidance and promoting character formation, which is one of our school's core pillars.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional counselling services, guide behavior interventions, and promote a positive school environment that enables students to unlock their God-given potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students and staff members.
Provide professional individual and group counselling sessions.
Guide behavior interventions and support systems within the school.
Actively promote a positive school environment in alignment with the school's pillars (Academic, Character formation, etc.).
Collaborating with the school community to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Minimum of a BA, BSc, or HND in Counselling, Psychology, or a relevant social science field.
Demonstrated compassion and professionalism in handling student and staff welfare.
Ability to guide behavior interventions effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
