Role Overview
Mediamax Network Ltd, Kenya's fastest-growing media company (comprising K24 TV, People Daily, Milele FM, Kameme FM, and others), is seeking results-driven Sales Executives for its North Rift region. The primary objective of this role is to drive commercial advertising revenue across Radio and TV platforms within the Direct Business portfolio. The focus is on acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and delivering impactful advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to grow advertising revenue specifically in the North Rift region.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, target sectors, and client needs.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients in the region.
Understand client objectives and recommend effective advertising solutions.
Develop customized, insight-led campaigns aligned to client goals and budgets.
Monitor campaign performance and respond promptly to client feedback.
Revenue Growth
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the various media platforms.
Maximize revenue from both new and existing accounts.
Collaboration and Expertise
Work closely with creative, media planning, and account management teams to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Stay updated with advertising trends, media innovations, and emerging technologies.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the local market, economy, and consumer behavior in the North Rift.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in advertising sales, preferably in Radio and TV.
Track Record: Proven success in direct business development and revenue generation.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of media planning and digital marketing.
Skills: Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Attributes: Self-driven, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Residency: Must be based in the North Rift region.
