Our client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA) based in Garissa. Reporting to the Shop Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling company products and services to all customers in a professional manner while adhering to the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass the retail operations mandate.
Job Purpose
To market and sell Company products and services to all customers in a professional manner.
Adhere and function within the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass retail operations mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Generate Sales: Meet and exceed targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and consignment stock for accurate balance of inventory movements and physical stock daily.
Cash Management: Manage daily cash float and provide full accountability for daily sales.
Sales Strategy: Support and implement customer experience improvement strategies for increased sales.
Technical Support: Offer technical support to customers, especially concerning the configuration of data devices.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a sales environment.
Required Competencies
Technical Competencies: Marketing skills, Product Knowledge, Upselling and Cross-selling, Solution-oriented mindset, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
