The Product Manager, Wealth and Investments, at KCB Bank Kenya is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to iteration, for new and existing wealth and investment products. This pivotal role is crucial for driving growth, performance, customer acquisition, usage, and retention within the bank's investment product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and iteration for new and existing wealth and investment products.
- Drive growth and performance of the bank’s wealth and investment products through customer acquisition, driving usage and retention.
- Perform financial and business risk analysis for new and existing products and partners.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements, new features, and innovative solutions to meet customer needs and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technology, marketing, and finance teams, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and feedback to refine and optimize product offerings for increased customer retention.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotions that attract and retain customers.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the success of wealth and investment products initiatives.
- Use market insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the wealth and investment space.
- Assess market competition by comparing the bank’s products to competitors' products within the financial services industry.
Minimum Criteria and Qualifications
The preferred candidate will meet the below minimum criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Professional Qualification: Professional qualification in Portfolio Management, Investments & Wealth or Financial Products Management is an added advantage.
- Experience: At least five years' managerial experience in leading digital product management in wealth & investments products, including relevant experience in the following areas:
- Product management
- Investment and Wealth products / Financial markets / Portfolio management.
- Delivery of digital consumer products in a high growth environment
- Project Management/ Delivery
- Managing a team
- Management of diverse calibre of stakeholders.
