The National Youth Service (NYS) is seeking to recruit 10 Privates for the Agriculture department. NYS is a premier agency dedicated to helping youth discover and develop their potential while executing comprehensive youth empowerment master plans. These positions are offered on permanent and pensionable terms of service.

Responsibilities
While specific daily duties for Privates in the Agriculture cadre typically involve fieldwork, candidates will be responsible for supporting the service's agricultural initiatives, which include crop and livestock production across various NYS stations. You will work under the instruction of senior officers and agricultural specialists to ensure food security and training objectives are met.
Requirements for Appointment
A minimum of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) D+ (plus) or its approved equivalent.
Must have successfully undergone the initial NYS Paramilitary Training.
Possession of a National Trade Test, Craft, or Diploma Certificate in Agriculture or related agro-allied courses.
Must have no criminal record.
A Senior Service Man/Woman (I and II) certificate is required for those in the General Duty Cadre.
