Part-Time Adjunct Faculty - Department of Public Law

• Adhere to teaching requirements as per the curriculum and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
• Administer Continuous Assessments Tests (CATs) and ensure timely student assessment through preparation, moderation, and marking of examinations.
• Keep abreast of developments within the academic discipline to shape curriculum content and design.
• Guide undergraduate and graduate students in research topic identification, concept development, proposal development, and supervision.
• Ensure accurate student records are updated in the Academic Management System.
• Identify sources of funding through grant writing to advance the school's research portfolio.
• Engage in publishing papers and participating in professional workshops, conferences, and seminars.
• Collaborate with researchers internally and internationally to establish linkages.
• Undertake administrative duties including leadership of academic programmes or committee membership. ### Requirements Option 1:
• An earned PhD degree qualification in the relevant area from a recognized/accredited university.
• At least three (3) years teaching and research experience in a university.
• Relevant work experience in industry is an added advantage.
• Registration by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable).

OR

Option 2:

• A Master’s degree qualification in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized/accredited university.
• At least three years teaching and research experience at a university.
• Must be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree qualification.
• Relevant work experience in industry is an added advantage.
