Kisiwa Technical Training Institute is seeking a Nutrition and Dietetics Trainer to join its educational department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical instruction, conducting research, and ensuring students are well-prepared for the industry through classroom teaching and practical attachment supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions on technical subjects within the Nutrition and Dietetics field.
Monitor and evaluate student progress through assessments and feedback.
Supervise students during their Industrial Attachment to ensure they gain relevant practical skills.
Undertake research in the respective training area to remain updated with industry trends.
Design curriculum and training materials tailored to specific learning objectives and student needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
A Certificate in Pedagogy (teaching methods).
Must be registered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).
