This is a middle-level position within the Laboratory Technician cadre at Pwani University. The appointee will serve under terms and conditions determined by the University Council, in accordance with Kenyan Labour Laws. The role involves supporting the university's scientific and academic operations specifically within the field of Histology.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Histology/Cytology, Biomedical Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Work Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Professional Membership: Must be a member of relevant professional bodies.
Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in a higher institution of learning will be considered a significant advantage.
Community Involvement: Candidates should demonstrate involvement in community activities (e.g., membership in Board of Governors (BOG), School Management Committee (SMC), etc.).
