Nursing Trainer

Kisiwa Technical Training Institute is seeking a dedicated Nursing Trainer to join our academic department. The role is designed to prepare students for self-reliance and employment by providing high-quality technical training in the nursing profession. The trainer will be responsible for delivering the curriculum, assessing student progress, and ensuring that training aligns with national healthcare and education standards.\n\n### Responsibilities\n- Conduct high-quality training sessions on technical nursing subjects.\n- Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments and examinations.\n- Supervise students during their Industrial Attachment to ensure practical competency in clinical environments.\n- Undertake research within the nursing and training fields to maintain up-to-date knowledge and improve instructional quality.\n- Design and develop curriculum and training materials tailored to the specific learning objectives of the program.\n\n### Qualifications and Requirements\n- A Diploma in Community Nursing or a Degree in Nursing.\n- A Certificate in Pedagogy (Teaching methodology).\n- Professional registration with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).\n- Current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified applicants should submit an application letter, a detailed curriculum vitae (CV), copies of academic and professional certificates, and a copy of their National Identity card or passport.
