Job Description
As the Marketing Manager for Pepsodent, you will be responsible for driving consumer demand and achieving exceptional business objectives for this power brand and other selected brands within your portfolio. This role involves translating business strategy into actionable marketing plans, leading demand creation, and championing a digital-first, social-first approach to brand building and consumer engagement. You will drive innovation to deliver multi-year brand growth, penetration, and brand power KPIs, while partnering with Customer Strategy & Planning teams to execute channel and category strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Translate the 1UL AML brand strategic vision into comprehensive Power Brand Marketing Plans tailored for the local market, ensuring effective implementation.
Lead the market Demand Creation agenda, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence in execution.
Set ambitious annual OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for Power Brand Demand Creation Squads and deliver in quarterly iterations.
Oversee Direct-to-Consumer strategies and the execution of global brand innovations as a market taker.
Act as the guardian for quality and consistency of execution across all touchpoints, including in-store presence.
Collaborate with Business Group and Design Market teams to develop impactful brand assets and amplify messaging across digital and retail platforms.
Drive digital Consumer Demand Creation activities, including brand activation, consumer insights generation, data analytics, and in-market experiential events.
Lead the Digital Marketing agenda, implementing strategies to deliver seamless and engaging digital consumer experiences.
Partner with the DMC and CMI Leads to test and produce assets while driving media and digital communication.
Potentially serve as a Power brand leader for the EWA region in addition to the primary market role.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: At least 4 years of proven experience in marketing, with a strong focus on demand generation, brand building, and digital marketing within the consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Strategic Execution: Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing plans that drive measurable business results.
Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital channels including social media, influencer marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
Collaboration: Strong experience working with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Finance, and Customer Development, as well as managing creative agencies.
Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budget management, tracking ROI, and optimizing campaign spending.
