Job Description
The Corporate Communication Officer II is an entry and training grade for the cadre at the National Crime Research Centre (NCRC). Working under the supervision of a designated supervisor, the officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of communication strategies and maintaining the corporate image of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Implementing communications, customer, and branding strategies to support the Centre's objectives.
Supporting activities intended to enhance the corporate image of the Centre.
Monitoring internal and external media communication functions.
Assisting in protocol management for official functions.
Organizing the Centre's planned events and functions.
Providing content in the development of communication materials.
Supporting the implementation of the Centre's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing relevant reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or any other relevant equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer application skills.
Additional Requirements for Successful Candidates
Successful candidates may be required to submit clearance certificates from the following bodies:
Kenya Revenue Authority (Valid Tax Compliance Certificate)
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Certificate of Good Conduct)
