Job Description
Macheo Children's Organization supports vulnerable children with a tailored set of cost-effective interventions that address their needs and the underlying root causes of these. The aim is to ensure that they live a fulfilling life and, in turn, provide a good environment for the next generation. The Locum Nurse will be responsible for providing essential healthcare services to children under the organization's care, ensuring professional standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical nursing care to children and patients within the facility.
Monitor and document patient health status and progress.
Administer treatments and medications as required.
Ensure compliance with Nursing Council of Kenya standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to address the underlying root causes of health issues in vulnerable children.
Requirements
Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN) or Community Health Nurse from a recognized training institution.
Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Valid practicing license.
Experience working with children’s charitable institutions is an added advantage.
