The Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), also known as the Office of the Ombudsman, is a Constitutional Commission seeking an Internal Audit & Risk Intern to support its mandate. This role involves assisting the internal audit department in ensuring the integrity of financial systems, risk management, and compliance across the commission's operations.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Assist in undertaking audit assignments and preparing detailed audit observations and reports.\n- Participating in carrying out institutional risk evaluation and efficiency audits.\n- Assist in conducting financial and systems audits.\n- Participating in developing and updating the internal audit manual.\n- Assist in carrying out audit inspections of CAJ’s records.\n- Assist in auditing systems and processes.\n- Assist in carrying out audit checks and identifying any accounting errors.\n- Assist in collecting data on periodical financial returns, estimates and expenditure.\n- Assist in examining vouchers, cashbooks, and ledgers to confirm the propriety and accuracy of transactions.\n- Assist in auditing annual accounts.\n- Perform any other duty assigned by the Commission from time to time.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Accounting/Finance option), Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online by visiting the Commission's recruitment portal at .
