Thika Technical Training Institute is a Government Technical Training institute established under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Vocational and Technical Training. The institute is seeking a qualified Institute Plumber (Ref: TTTI/BOG/IP/10/04/2026) to manage its plumbing infrastructure. This role is graded at TTTI JG 6.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all plumbing systems and fixtures within the 45-acre institute campus.
Ensure efficient water supply and reliable drainage systems for all facilities.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues promptly to maintain institutional operations.
Maintain records of plumbing works and materials used for maintenance and repairs.
Collaborate with the technical team on broader facility maintenance projects.
Minimum Requirements
Must possess a Craft Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
A Diploma in a related field will be considered an added advantage.
At least three (3) years of professional experience as a Plumber.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of commercial or institutional plumbing works.
Proficiency in computer literacy.
Terms of Engagement
Terms: Two (2) Year contract.
Salary: As per the approved TTTI salary structure.
