Job Description
Inspire Credit Limited is a non-bank financial service company licensed as a Digital Credit Provider (DCP) by the Central Bank of Kenya. We are seeking a highly competent Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and drive organizational growth.
Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading the full HR function, focusing on culture transformation, staff engagement, and operational excellence across all branches. This role involves managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring legal compliance, and providing strategic advisory to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership: Lead the full HR function, including Recruitment, Performance Management, Training & Development, Employee Relations, and HR Operations.
Culture & Engagement: Drive culture transformation and strengthen staff engagement across all branches.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements (including DCP/CBK guidelines), and internal policies.
Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition and build strong leadership pipelines to support organizational growth.
Employee Relations: Manage disciplinary processes, staff welfare, and employee grievance handling.
Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic HR advisory to senior leadership and implement HRIS, policies, and systems for operational excellence.
Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements and systems to enhance efficiency within the HR department.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business, or a related field. A Higher qualification or CHRP certification is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Industry Knowledge: MUST have experience in the microfinance industry.
Legal Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Employment Act and HR best practices in Kenya.
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Attributes: High integrity, confidentiality, and strong organisational judgement.
