Role Overview\nOur client, a premium lodge in the Amboseli region, is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all dining and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with hygiene regulations while driving revenue growth and profitability.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Oversee and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and event services.\n- Develop and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.\n- Lead, supervise, and support the F&B team through recruitment, training, and performance management.\n- Support menu development and continuous improvement based on guest preferences and market trends.\n- Plan and manage events, banquets, and special functions to ensure smooth execution.\n- Monitor stock levels, control costs, and oversee procurement processes for efficiency.\n- Conduct regular team briefings to align staff and address operational issues.\n- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.\n- Act as a key liaison for individual and corporate clients.\n- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards and internal policies.\n- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote F&B offerings.\n- Review guest feedback and implement service improvements.\n- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.\n- Take a hands-on approach to daily operations to ensure service excellence.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Service Management, Business, Culinary Arts, or a related field.\n- At least 3 years of proven experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a luxury or business hotel environment.\n- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and productivity.\n- Passion for culinary trends and a deep understanding of food and beverage service.\n- Experience in cost management, budget controls, and revenue maximization.\n- Proficiency with ERP systems, hotel management software, and MS Office.\n\n### Key Competencies\n- Strong leadership and team management skills.\n- High level of professionalism and integrity.\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.\n- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n- Exceptional time management.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to: using the position title as the subject of the email.
