As a Community Outreach Officer at CIC Insurance Group, you will be responsible for expanding the company's footprint in Naivasha through strategic engagement and sales initiatives. The role involves identifying new client opportunities, conducting community sensitization, and building relationships with intermediaries to drive the uptake of insurance products. ### Key Responsibilities * Identify and recruit new clients and intermediaries including cooperatives, MFIs, registered groups, and bancassurance partners. Focus on reactivating dormant accounts and expanding outreach channels. * Conduct community sensitization sessions, deliver product presentations, and provide training for clients and intermediaries to increase brand awareness and product adoption. * Prepare professional proposals and quotations, track sales pipelines, and follow up on leads. Work closely with underwriting and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding. * Collect and report insights on market trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor activities to inform product development and improvement. * Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and policy persistency. ### Requirements * Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related field (Bachelor’s degree is preferred). * Professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP, ECOP, or Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII/LOMA) are an added advantage. * Must be 25 years of age and above. * Proven experience in sales, community engagement, or field mobilization is highly desirable. * Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities. ### How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates should apply through the CIC Insurance careers portal by visiting the link provided below.
