CIC Insurance Group Limited is seeking to recruit Community Outreach Officers for its operations in Embu. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, community engagement, and field sales. This role involves expanding the company's outreach channels by recruiting new clients and intermediaries while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and brand value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and recruit new clients and intermediaries, including cooperatives, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), registered groups, and bancassurance partners. Actively work on reactivating dormant accounts and expanding CIC’s outreach channels.
Client & Partner Engagement: Conduct community sensitization programs, deliver product presentations, and provide training for clients and intermediaries to drive product awareness and uptake.
Sales Support & Administration: Prepare professional proposals and quotations, follow up on leads, and track sales pipelines. Collaborate closely with underwriting and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
Market Intelligence: Gather and share valuable insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support continuous product improvement.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets while upholding CIC’s brand values and ensuring high policy persistency.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related field. A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Qualifications: Qualifications in Insurance such as COP, ECOP, or a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII/LOMA) are an added advantage.
Experience: Proven experience in community engagement, sales, or field mobilization is an advantage.
Age: Must be 25 years of age and above.

Proficiency in tracking sales pipelines and lead management.
