Cytonn Investments is seeking a Client Services Assistant Intern to join their team in Nairobi. This internship is designed for individuals looking to gain professional experience in the investment and real estate sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling client interactions, managing data, and supporting operational efficiency within the department. This role offers an integrated approach to customer experience across different business units, providing a comprehensive learning environment for those interested in financial services and relationship management.
Responsibilities
Effectively handle client calls, queries, and emails.
Identify and communicate ways of enhancing the customer experience.
Build skills to handle client complaints and resolve issues effectively.
Understand KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements and maintain accurate client records and contact details.
Assist in preparing for external and internal client-related meetings and tracking their effectiveness.
Act as a lead in providing an integrated approach across business units to ensure effective customer experience.
Undergo training on administering company databases with attention to detail and data integrity.
Assist in recording transactions (contributions, withdrawals, corporate actions) in the database system with relevant support documentation.
Maintain financial security and controls based on existing policies and propose new internal control improvements.
Drive efficiency by spearheading automation processes and enhancing internal communication systems.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports to support decision-making.
Ability to work on a day and night shift rotation.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum C Plain Grade in High School (KCSE).
Diploma Certification in Business Administration, Project Management, Procurement, Systems Support, or any other related Business Courses.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to question processes and gain a deep understanding of requested actions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Positive attitude and flexibility to handle diverse tasks and long hours with minimal supervision.
Availability to work in a shift system (including night shifts).
