We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer to lead client acquisition efforts for our client HR services. This role is not administrative; it is a frontline revenue-generating position focused on identifying, engaging, and converting potential clients. The ideal candidate understands how to sell professional services, build trust with decision-makers, and consistently close potential service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for recruitment and HR consulting services.
Sales Strategy: Developing and executing sales strategies to grow the Client’s portfolio.
Prospecting & Pitching: Actively prospecting, pitching, and presenting HR solutions to potential clients.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
Contracting: In liaison with the HR Consultants, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing business contracts.
Internal Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery.
Performance Tracking: Tracking progress of potential business pitches and meeting or exceeding set revenue targets.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
Track Record: Proven track record in selling services (experience in HR, recruitment, or consulting is a strong advantage).
Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert leads into paying clients.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Attributes: Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with targets.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
