Business Development Executive (Transport & Logistics)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities specifically within the transport and logistics sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive business proposals, professional presentations, and competitive tenders.
• Collaborate closely with operations and finance teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service efficiency.
• Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Consistently achieve set sales targets and contribute significantly to the company's overall revenue growth.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business development within the transportation and logistics industry, specifically focusing on local transport within Kenya.
• Proven industry connections and a demonstrated ability to generate leads and successfully close deals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills paired with a results-driven mindset.
