The role of the Branch Manager for the Kikuyu branch at Nrs Sacco involves leading the branch operations. Nrs Sacco is a modern financial institution dedicated to encouraging a saving culture and enhancing the economic welfare of its members across informal and formal sectors by offering a variety of tailor-made facilities, products, and services. The Branch Manager will be pivotal in ensuring the branch operates efficiently, achieves profitability, drives member growth, and maintains full compliance with all SACCO policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to SACCO policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and achieve sales targets, member growth, and profitability of the branch.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
- Prepare and present branch performance reports to senior management.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in banking, microfinance, SACCO’s, or a similar financial institution.
- Must include 1-2 years of experience in a Branch managerial role.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Sacco operations, financial products, and services.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
