The Bellman plays a vital role in the guest experience, serving as one of the first and last points of contact for visitors.
Responsibilities
Guest Welcome: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professional courtesy.
Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with their luggage; maintain the luggage room and long-term luggage store in a neat and orderly manner.
Reporting: Maintain accurate VIP, group, and individual arrival reports.
Guest Inquiries: Attend to guest inquiries and provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities and local areas.
Security & Compliance: Determine and ensure compliance with all key control policies and manage all safe deposit boxes for guests.
Coordination: Evaluate the daily status of the hotel and coordinate with various departments such as reservations, sales, and housekeeping to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the Opera Property Management System.
Communication: Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
Soft Skills: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Background: A background in hospitality is strongly preferred.
