Role Overview: Village Administrator III (11 Posts)
The County Government of Kitui is recruiting highly motivated individuals for the position of Village Administrator III. The role involves coordinating and managing general administrative functions within a designated village unit, ensuring effective service delivery, and promoting community development.
The Village Administrator reports directly to the Ward Administrator.
The Village Administrator will be responsible for:
Coordinating, managing, and supervising the general administrative functions in the village unit.
Generating proposals to assist in developing policies and plans.
Ensuring effective service delivery.
Coordinating development activities to empower the community.
Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service.
Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and service delivery.
Providing input in organizing public participation awareness at the local level.
Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Be a Citizen of Kenya.
Hold a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any other Social Science from a recognized institution.
Possess a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
