Job Description
The role of Records Assistant I at the Tana River County Assembly is a full-time, permanent and pensionable position responsible for the physical and systematic management of the Assembly's records and registry functions. The role is based in Tana River County.
The primary duties of the Records Assistant I include:
File shelving, arrangement and basic sorting of documents.
Assisting in mail handling and dispatch.
Labeling and organizing files.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the registry.
Delivering files to offices as required.
Performing any other duties assigned.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
Certificate in Records Management, Archives, Library Studies or related field.
KCSE Mean Grade C- or equivalent.
Basic computer literacy.
Good communication skills.
Experience in registry work will be an added advantage.
