Job Description
The Records Assistant II role is a permanent and pensionable position responsible for supporting the efficient organization and maintenance of records within the Tana River County Assembly. The basic salary scale for this position is Kshs. 32,700 – Kshs. 42,690.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the Records Assistant II include:
File shelving, arrangement, and basic sorting of documents.
Assisting in mail handling and dispatch.
Labeling and organizing files.
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the registry.
Delivering files to offices as required.
Performing any other duties assigned.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Education: Certificate in Records Management, Archives, Library Studies or a related field.
Academic Qualification: KCSE Mean Grade C- or equivalent.
Skills: Basic computer literacy and good communication skills.
Experience: Experience in registry work will be an added advantage.
