Zetech University is the premier university for the education of Technology, Science and Business oriented global leaders. The purpose of this position is to carry out teaching roles, student mentoring, research, and other academic duties in liaison with the university's overall goals. The Tutorial Fellow will provide high-quality instruction in Information Technology and Computer Science subjects while contributing to the institution's research and curriculum development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programmes of study, including new courses at various levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
Review course content and materials on a regular basis, updating them when required.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Present research papers at national or international conferences and disseminate research outputs.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised/accredited University in the relevant field.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
