Job Description
The Nakuru County Government is seeking to recruit five Supply Chain Management Assistants III. This role involves providing essential support in the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department, specifically focusing on the management of stores and inventory records to ensure efficient service delivery within the county.
Responsibilities
Issuing and receiving stores items to ensure proper stock movement control.
Assisting in the stock-taking process and periodic audits.
Performing stock reconciliation to align physical stock with system records.
Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of accurate supply chain and procurement records.
Requirements and Qualifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili (or its equivalent) from a recognized institution.
A Diploma (CIPS) in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A registration certificate with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
A valid practicing license from the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
