Job Description
The County Government of Lamu is seeking to recruit qualified and interested candidates for the position of Supply Chain Management Assistant III. This role is essential for supporting the county's procurement and supply chain functions, ensuring resources are managed efficiently and in accordance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of procurement plans.
Managing and updating inventory records and store ledgers.
Coordinating the receipt, inspection, and acceptance of goods and services.
Assisting in the preparation of tender and quotation documents.
Ensuring the safe storage and proper issuance of materials and equipment.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate must:
Be a Kenyan Citizen (National Identity Card/Passport).
Have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Be in possession of a Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Be a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and in good standing.
Have a Certificate in Computer Applications.

Those with academic qualifications from foreign Universities should attach proof of accreditation from the Commission for University Education.
