The Senior Technician is responsible for managing, supervising and leading all maintenance-related systems, projects, and developments in the company. The incumbent will provide leadership to the Maintenance Team which delivers technical support, periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-resolution of all technology products and services for clients throughout the country.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Manage the maintenance teams and functions within agreed-upon budgets, timelines, and standards.
Constitute maintenance teams and assign responsibilities to ensure maximum utilization and productivity.
Direct and schedule maintenance activities, monitor for quality delivery, and endeavor to eliminate repeat work and unfulfilled scheduled tasks.
Work with the Installation Manager in developing the maintenance schedule.
Review quality assurance/quality control and maintenance reports throughout the maintenance cycles to support future plans.
Produce task deliverables, documentation, reports, and presentation materials including Job Cards, Commissioning Documents, Training Manuals, Completion Certificates, BoQ, and BOM reports.
Maintain records of the machines and utilities, analyzing these and identifying cost management initiatives as well as machine optimization opportunities.
Maintain client relations through interactions to evaluate, communicate, and match client needs in the course of maintenance duties.
Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
Plan, develop, and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations and minimize operating costs.
Keep abreast with and maintain security technology awareness including the latest products and solutions available in the market.
Direct training and coaching of workers to improve work performance and acquaint departmental technicians with company policies.
Manage section staff capacity and skill levels through human resource planning and forecasting.

Proper storage of maintenance records, BoMs, and BoQs reports.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ICT Security, or a related field.
Higher Diploma or Diploma in Design Technology, Engineering, Security, and Risk Management or related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of maintenance experience with at least 3 years in project implementation and management at a supervisory level.
In-depth knowledge of physical and electronic security systems (Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Detection, and BMS systems).
Certification in any of the following: Gallagher, Avigilon, Cathexis Vision, Milestone, Genetec, and Lenel.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
