Deloitte Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Head of Security. The successful candidate will be accountable for creating a secure and safe working and transacting environment for the company. This strategic role involves developing risk management frameworks, overseeing physical and electronic security systems, and managing security personnel to protect the organization's facilities, personnel, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for creating a secure and safe working and transacting environment for the company.
Develop a security risk management framework with appropriate Policies, Procedures, and Controls.
Maintain close liaison with the external Security Company and manage a group of security guards who ensure the protection of the organization's facilities.
Plan, direct, and ensure the implementation of comprehensive security systems for the protection of individuals, commercial, and industrial establishments.
Plan and direct the installation of electronic security systems, such as CCTV surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, smoke detectors, and outdoor perimeter/microwave alarms.
Network with various Private/Public Partnerships to improve the efficiency of security and prosecutions of serious and violent crimes.
Conduct surprise security drills to check the efficiency of all security measures.
Plan and direct personal security and safety for organization personnel and visitors.
Develop and enforce security procedures and regulations.
Act as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Security or a related field.
Certification in Security Management or Risk (CPP - Certified Protection Professional and PSP - Physical Security Professional, or equivalent preferred).
At least ten (10) years of relevant working experience, of which five (5) must have been in a corporate organization of similar size.
Technical and Behavioural Competencies
Proficiency in physical security systems and surveillance technologies.
Expertise in risk assessment and threat analysis.
Knowledge of loss prevention in manufacturing and distribution environments.
Skills in incident investigation and reporting.
Experience in fleet and route security management.
Strong leadership and authority with high integrity and discretion.
Decisive and firm under pressure, yet resilient and calm in crisis situations.
Observant and detail-focused with strong coordination and communication skills.
