This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all field and processing activities related to hybrid and open-pollinated production of baby corn, seed maize, and cucurbit crops (watermelon, squash, pepper, and tomato). The supervisor ensures high-quality seed production in compliance with company standards and certification guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning: Implement seasonal programs, coordinate land selection, field layout, and crop scheduling.
Reporting & Compliance: Adhere to SOPs and certification standards while maintaining accurate field records and production reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or Horticulture.
5–8+ years of experience in hybrid seed production, specifically with cucurbits and seed maize.
Deep knowledge of pest and disease management in corn and cucurbit crops.
Technical expertise in hybridization techniques and seed certification standards.
Experience managing large-scale field operations.
Mandatory: Valid driving license with a motorbike endorsement and proficiency in riding.
