Job Description
EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. As a Senior or Experienced Consultant in the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) department, you will help clients achieve their strategic goals, whether they are acquiring or divesting assets. You will advise clients during the transaction lifecycle to identify key value drivers (risks and opportunities) and challenge assumptions about future performance. This role involves collaboration with other EY service teams and global offices to deliver integrated services on cross-border assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients during the transaction lifecycle to identify risks and opportunities and challenge performance assumptions.
Perform industry, regulation, and company research utilizing online tools and public information.
Utilize data analysis tools such as Alteryx and Power BI to evaluate financial statements and operational performance.
Assist in the preparation of valuations for financial reporting, transactions, tax, and litigation.
Analyze and present complex financial information and navigate financial models.
Prepare detailed reports and schedules to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to promote a collaborative culture.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Honours or equivalent in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or International Business.
A minimum overall grade of B in KCSE and a B in both English and Mathematics.
At least four (4) years of transaction work experience.
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
Passion for helping clients achieve their potential.
Ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate conclusions.
Familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts including IFRS.
Proficiency in data analysis and critical thinking.
