IQVIA is looking for a Senior Biostatistician to join their team in Nairobi. In this role, you will be given access to cutting-edge, in-house technology and opportunities to work on global projects across a variety of therapeutic areas. You will provide statistical consulting and technical support as it relates to the design, statistical analysis, and regulatory submissions of clinical trial studies.
Key Responsibilities
Statistical Leadership: Act as a statistical team lead for single, complex studies or groups of studies.
Project Management: Manage the scope of work and budget, providing revenue and resource forecasts.
Business Development: Prepare proposal text and attend bid defense meetings.
Collaboration: Partner with medical and programming staff to produce interim reports and final reports, allowing a comprehensive understanding and interpretation of clinical trial data and outcomes.
Technical Support: Provide statistical consulting and technical support for study design and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
Education: BSc or MSc degree in Biostatistics or a related field.
Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant professional experience in biostatistics.
Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of SAS and CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM).
Statistical Knowledge: Familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods applicable to clinical trials.
Core Competencies: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects; ability to communicate and explain complex statistics to various stakeholders.
