The Senior Account Associate (SAA) within the Integrated Practice is responsible for maintaining high client satisfaction by strategically planning and providing day-to-day implementation and management of client projects. The SAA works closely with client contacts and agency team members to ensure that the client's communications requirements are identified, and appropriate solutions are recommended, planned, budgeted, and implemented accordingly. They collaborate with other teams to provide integrated services in public relations, advertising, and digital media for various client projects and assignments. This is considered an entry leadership role, requiring an individual who is self-driven, a strategic thinker, energetic, creative, insightful, and enthusiastic and passionate about the marketing, advertising, and communication industry.
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with the team to adhere to quality processes and standards for agency teams, ensuring client deliverables are achieved within assigned projects.
- Maintains rapport with clients, proactively anticipating client needs and potential opportunities, and proposing creative solutions that meet those needs.
- Contributes to the development of new business proposals and presentations.
- Acts as a team player, working collaboratively to execute client campaigns and ensuring creative output is of high quality and on strategy.
- Spearheads the development of content for dissemination on mainstream and digital media channels.
- Participates in research activities and prepares proposals/presentations in support of new business efforts.
- Builds strong relationships with internal, external stakeholders, as well as clients within their portfolio.
Skills & Competencies
- Must be experienced working across several projects simultaneously, adept at multi-tasking work to meet client deadlines by setting priorities and utilizing good judgment.
- Must have strong skills in research and analysis, as well as proven experience in developing communication strategies and execution plans, editorial content writing, digital strategies, and content plans.
- High business acumen, adaptable, confident, and a strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication, as well as strong negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to accurately develop and manage budgets and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Over 5-7 years of full-time experience in public relations, account management, or client service (at least 3 years of agency experience).
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Communication or Marketing or similar from a recognized institution.
- Certifications such as CPR /CIM, Customer Service, Marketing, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
