Job Description
Reeds Africa Consult (RAC) is seeking a dedicated School Driver. The School Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of learners. The role involves operating school vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and school policies while ensuring the well-being and safety of all students during transit.
Key Responsibilities
Operate school buses or other designated vehicles in a safe and lawful manner in accordance with traffic regulations and school transport policies.
Ensure the safety of all learners at all times, particularly when boarding and alighting from the vehicle.
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Monitor learner behavior during transit to ensure adherence to safety protocols and the maintenance of a respectful and orderly environment.
Strictly follow established pick-up and drop-off schedules.
Job Requirements
Valid driving license class B, C, C1, D1, D2 (van/ Nissan & min Buses category) and renewal Institution Driver licence.
Minimum education level: Certificate in any related field.
Certificate of Good Conduct.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
