Job Description
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of sales, customer reservations, and front desk operations at Karama Lodge, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and smooth coordination between departments.
Sales and Reservations Duties
Provide detailed information to customers regarding booking and reservation services for hotels, flights, or other travel services.
Answer customer inquiries about pricing, availability, and accommodations.
Process and manage customer reservations based on specific needs and preferences.
Process payments and send confirmation details to customers.
Handle changes, cancellations, and complaints from customers professionally.
Maintain and update customer accounts and reservation records as needed.
Stay informed about current promotions and packages to provide optimal options for customers.
Ensure all necessary filing is completed accurately.
Hotel Reception and Operations
Attend to clients promptly upon arrival and departure.
Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Handle the posting and overseeing of all stock.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in a relevant field and have an understanding of the hotel and tourism industry. Essential skills include fluency in both English and Swahili (written and spoken), excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and flexibility with shift times, including the ability to work long hours.
