The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring that the standards of cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel meet specified requirements. The role requires a passionate and dynamic, guest-focused professional who prides themselves on delivering extraordinary levels of customer service and providing creative solutions to guests.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare Housekeeping Attendants job assignments.
- Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants.
- Monitor VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, and Double-Lock Rooms and take appropriate action.
- Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions.
- Receive check-outs before reporting them as vacant.
- Receive and carry out special requests from guests.
- Inspect areas cleaned using a checklist to ensure cleaning is adequate, supplies are as per standard, and immediate repairs are reported.
- Fill out reports and hand over found articles to the lost and found department.
- Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells.
- Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants and advise Superiors about performance.
- Assist with inventory and ensure all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
