Sales Executive (Transport-Cargo)

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities in the transport and logistics sector.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Proposals and Presentations: Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and tenders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure client satisfaction and service efficiency.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Target Achievement: Achieve set sales targets and contribute to the company's overall revenue growth.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development within the transportation and logistics industry (specifically local transport within the country).
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the logistics industry working with Cargo/Trucks is a MUST.
• Networking: Proven industry connections and the ability to generate leads and close deals. An existing network of clients is an added advantage.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, alongside strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
